It provides integrated facilities for recording all bank transactions, calculating all currency conversions between the cash book base currency, the bank account currency where this is different from the base currency and any other transaction currencies which may pass through the bank account.
Sigma Cash keeps account of currency change gains or losses resulting from exchange rate variations between the time of transaction entry and the subsequent clearing of the transaction on the bank statement. The system not only performs the bookkeeping functions, but also provides you with the management information essential to enable you to make the correct decisions.
The system is designed to be easy to install and use, and yet to cater for many different management requirements and accounting procedures. You choose the way you want to process each cash book by defining a number of different parameters. A parameter is an item that may have a variable value. Sigma Cash lets you give the value you require thus allowing you to incorporate individual requirements into the system (and change them if you need to) without expensive programming effort.

The system can process up to 999 cash books, each of which can deal with a maximum of 99 bank accounts, and each bank account can operate in a different currency from any other. You have complete control over the exchange rates to be used in currency conversions.
The system can process up to 14 different transaction types (such as cash receipts or standing orders), each having a different set of processing rules.
Sigma Cash produces a wide range of standard output reports. Some of these are produced automatically at certain points in the processing cycle; others are available on demand. You can choose the sequence in which most of them are printed.
Sigma Cash also offers a report writer and a cheque writer that allows you to design the layout of your reports and cheques as well as specifying the content.
