Sales Ledger

Sigma Sales is a comprehensive and flexible sales ledger system that you can configure to match your own particular method of working. The system can process up to 999 sales ledgers, each of which can deal with a maximum of 9999 customers. Each ledger may operate as a single currency ledger or a dual currency ledger, trading in one currency and accounting in another. In a dual currency ledger you have immediate control over the exchange rates to be used in currency conversions. Most sales ledger processing is identical for single and dual currency ledgers.

You can use the system to process up to 14 different types of input transaction documents (such as invoices, credit notes etc), each having a different set of processing rules.

You decide on the credit limit and settlement terms you wish to extend to each customer. Sigma Sales keeps you and your customers informed of all outstanding debts and will produce, if required, reminder letters for those debts that are overdue.

Sigma Sales produces a wide range of standard output reports. Some of these are produced automatically at certain points in the processing cycle; others are available on demand. You can choose the sequence in which most of them are printed. Sigma Sales also offers a report writer which allows you to design the layout of your reports as well as specifying the content.

Sigma Sales has an enquiry facility that allows you to display customer account records. The display shows all the static information relating to the customer, and either a statement of account or full details of any transactions entered for the customer. In a dual currency ledger, you can display values in either currency.
